Shamanic Drumming Circle - July 20, 2008
Join us as we drum for healing, dance, and journey to meet our guides and power animals. Drumming is a technique that has been used for centuries for healing, and as a means to explore other dimensions. During our time together in this session we will drum to heal ourselves, and our loved ones, dance to center ourselves, and connect with our guides, and we will journey to the Upper and Lower Worlds. Please wear comfortable clothes to allow freedom of movement, a bottle of water, a notebook and pen, and a drum or rattle (if you have one). Extra drums and rattles will be available.
Amy Benesch has studied basic shamanism with Michael Harner, and soul retrieval and contacting nature spirits with Sandra Ingerman. She is also available for personalized soul retrieval sessions. She has studied with Theresa Snyder and the Peruvian Shaman Oscar Miro-Quesada. She is certified in hypnosis and past life regression. Amy is drawn to shamanism and other indigenous practices because they honor the Earth and are based on the assumption that all of life is sacred.

We all love our furry companions but often times we find that we don’t have the skills or knowledge to help them maintain optimum health or to assist them when there is a health crisis or a behavioral issue. Initiation
into the Tarot’s Major Arcana- To be announced
The Major Arcana (or Trump) cards of the Tarot represent big life themes and spiritual issues, such as creativity, individuation, and surrender. In this workshop, we will learn more about each of the Major Arcana cards and find ways to harness the healing wisdom and energy the Tarot has to offer us. Come as The Fool, who is open to adventure and learning, and encounter, as he does, each of the Major Arcana Cards: the personalities (i.e., The Magician, The High Priestess, The Empress, etc.); situations (The Tower, The Wheel of Fortune, etc.): and other entities (such as The Moon and The Chariot) which have so many lessons and experiences to offer us. No prior knowledge of Tarot is required, but the workshop will be participatory, so please come prepared to enjoy a variety of experiences to introduce you to the Major Arcana, or deepen your knowledge if you are already familiar with Tarot.
