Shamanic Drumming Circle - May 23, June 13, 2010
Join us as we drum for healing, dance, and journey to meet our guides and power animals. Drumming is a technique that has been used for centuries for healing, and as a means to explore other dimensions. During our time together in this session we will drum to heal ourselves, and our loved ones, dance to center ourselves, and connect with our guides, and we will journey to the Upper and Lower Worlds. Please wear comfortable clothes to allow freedom of movement, a bottle of water, a notebook and pen, and a drum or rattle (if you have one). Extra drums and rattles will be available.
Amy Benesch has studied basic shamanism with Michael Harner, and soul retrieval and contacting nature spirits with Sandra Ingerman. She is also available for personalized soul retrieval sessions. She has studied with Theresa Snyder and the Peruvian Shaman Oscar Miro-Quesada. She is certified in hypnosis and past life regression. Amy is drawn to shamanism and other indigenous practices because they honor the Earth and are based on the assumption that all of life is sacred.
All workshops are scheduled at the Circle of Tranquility, 301 Memorial Drive, Hawthorne, NY
